BUTTER MILK CHANNEL / Yokohama

BUTTERMILK CHANNEL opened its second location in Japan at Yokohama Bay Quarter on April 23, 2019.
Originally established in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, BUTTERMILK CHANNEL is an American restaurant that has long been loved by the local community. Following the opening of its first Japan location in Harajuku, PICO INNOVATE was also involved in creating the brand’s Yokohama restaurant.
For this project, we were responsible for a wide range of services, including design proposals, coordination with the facility, basic zoning and layout planning, color coordination, material planning, furniture design, lighting design and production, kitchen planning, plumbing, HVAC and electrical design, lighting planning, sound and BGM planning, fire department applications, display planning and production, stencil design, project management, and overall direction.
Translating the brand identity and various requirements from the New York headquarters into the space, we created a distinctive Yokohama location featuring an open and inviting terrace dining area.
