Kaiten Sushi Ginza Onodera / Houston

Kaiten Sushi Ginza Onodera opened in Houston, Texas, on November 16, 2024. Following its Hawaii location, the Houston restaurant became the brand’s second overseas location and its first kaiten sushi restaurant on the U.S. mainland.
Located within West on West, a mixed-use commercial development featuring a variety of Asian restaurants and shops, the restaurant was planned as a spacious 83-seat dining environment. The layout includes counter seating, tables for four and six guests, and a private dining room for six, accommodating a variety of dining occasions.
A waiting bar was incorporated into the entrance area, allowing guests to enjoy drinks while waiting to be seated. Accessibility was also carefully considered, with wheelchair-accessible seating provided throughout the space. Soft lighting and a modern interior create a comfortable and refined atmosphere for guests.
A high-speed delivery lane brings freshly prepared Edomae sushi directly from the chefs to each guest, combining a new sushi experience with a carefully designed dining environment.
For this project, PICO INNOVATE was responsible for the design and construction of the restaurant.
